Stage 5 of the 2010 Tour de France takes place today (Thursday, 8th July), and will see the cyclists head south with another relatively flat stage. The stage takes place between Epernay – which is very close to Wednesday evening’s arrival town of Reims – and Montargis.As reported at bikeworldnews.com, because today’s starting position is so close to last night’s arrival destination, the riders didn’t have to endure a transfer on Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
